Alchimist was born in 2020 from a simple formula: transforming raw material to reveal its purest form, like a true alchemist. In concrete terms, giving a voice to a new generation of artists, designers, and creators. Conceived as a hybrid medium, halfway between a news page and a visual mood board, Alchimist has largely capitalized on the immediate enthusiasm generated by its social media content. Five years after its creation, the medium is complemented by a creative agency that supports brands, cultural institutions, and other industry players in deploying their cultural impact.

To support its expansion, Alchimist is now unveiling its new website, designed as a true cultural platform. A showcase of its scope of activities, it primarily aims to honor a whole creative ecosystem that constantly supports it. Here, we come to share stories and narratives, without ever distorting them. This means transcribing with the utmost care, but above all, giving a voice to those concerned, free to choose the words they wish to tell their story. Never appropriating, always valuing.

This website, like all actions undertaken by Alchimist, defends its primary commitment: to promote culture in its diversity. Since its beginnings, the medium has been committed to bringing (back) to life moments of internet culture, figures of emerging culture, and the forgotten ones of popular culture. Because we have always wanted to share what unifies and brings together, the journal will be no exception.

At Alchimist, we have always received in order to give back better. Our community has never been perceived as passive and taken for granted, but influential and decisive in its participation. We have never sought to speak only to Parisians; it is people from the suburbs and rural areas, in France and abroad, who represent our core target. Before producing, we consume, and it is precisely through this discerning consumer's perspective that we wish to cover our subjects.
