Parc des Cendres is an ashtray-sculpture, conceived as a table object: a functional piece that is as much miniature furniture as it is a smoking accessory.
Monteregali works with materials in the manner of a fleeting memory: by letting them erode to retain only the essential.
When we suggested an ashtray, he replied that he would rather make a park. From this sentence, Parc des Cendres was born. A table object that refuses to be discreet, designed for late evenings when everyone is dragging their feet, refusing to go home.
